Team 2 Completes 15-Mile Challenge, Pushing Fundraising Beyond £3,500
We’re thrilled to share some amazing news—Team Two has completed their 15-mile sponsored walk, and together, we’ve now raised over £3,500 for #BeMoreFrank and the Ewings Sarcoma Research Trust! These two charities mean a lot to us and to many people in our community, so we’re beyond excited about the progress we’ve made.
Last Saturday, Team Two took on the same tough route over the Brecon Beacons that Team One tackled earlier. But this time, the weather really put them to the test. They faced strong winds and constant rain for the first seven hours of the walk. Despite all that, they powered through with incredible determination and team spirit.
Operations Director, Katie Eckley, said it best: “Seeing Team Two push through such challenging weather was truly inspiring. We’re so proud of their resilience and commitment. And it’s not just the teams who’ve made this possible—it’s all of you who’ve supported us with your generous donations. Your kindness is going to make a real difference for families affected by cancer.”
We’re also excited to announce that we’ve launched an online and in-store auction to give our fundraising efforts one last big push. Up for grabs is a signed Hereford FC football and a family ticket to a game this season. We’re hoping this will bring in even more support for these important causes, so if you’re interested, be sure to check it out!
