We are delighted to announce that our garden centre has been granted planning permission for some fantastic new developments! This project marks a significant milestone for us, as we aim to enhance your shopping experience with a brand-new entrance and lobby area, as well as a purpose-built covered plant area. A Welcoming New Entrance and Lobby
One of the most noticeable changes will be our redefined entrance and lobby area. We are bringing back our Welcome Desk to its original glory, creating a more inviting and organised space for all our visitors. Katie Eckley, our Operations Director, shares her excitement about this update:
"The new defined entrance and lobby area will reintroduce our Welcome Desk area as it was first intended. This improvement not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures a more efficient and welcoming experience for our customers."
Goodbye Marquees, Hello Purpose-Built Covered Plant Area
Say farewell to the old, tired marquees and hello to a sleek, purpose-built covered plant area! This new structure will provide a comfortable and enjoyable shopping environment, regardless of what the unpredictable Welsh weather has in store. Katie Eckley elaborates on this critical update:

We first visited your lovely garden centre December 24 as we were told of the wonderful Christmas department. We have fallen in love with The Old Railway and have just revisited on 25th January bringing an extra visitor to show our new discovery. We are thrilled for you with the introduction of the new entrance area and look forward to its completion. We again went into your restaurant for coffee and cake and a surprising meet up with Amanda’s sister and family who also decided to visit 🙂 – with this visit we opened a loyalty account and used one of the on line offers at the checkout.

Called in on 22nd Jan to buy seedling compost, staff very helpful in locating the compost. It must be so difficult running a business while major works on going on in one department. Noticed that the flooring is down so looking forward to coming again to see the new building. Well done to management and cheerful friendly staff.

As a customer for over 25 years and an employee for the last 3 years, i am really excited to see how this new area developes. No more creaking, clanking, damp marquee( though it has served us so well!) , but insted a welcoming entrance, full of promise!
