Over £3,000 Raised For Wales Air Ambulance

On Monday 8th April, a small group from our team were thrilled to present a cheque worth £3,014.70 to the team at Wales Air Ambulance, Welshpool Base.

Wales Air Ambulance were our Charity of the Year for 2023. The funds were raised through numerous charity events such as our popular Bingo and Quiz & Curry Nights as well as other donations from our customers through replacement reward cards, pallets and more! 

One of our best fundraising efforts was through our Halloween 'Spooky Walk'. Our loyal customers' generous donations meant that we raised over £1,000 for the charity from that alone. 

A select few from our team spent the morning on the 8th of April travelling up to the Wales Air Ambulance Welshpool Base to present them with the charity money cheque. The team were extremely grateful and, as they were having a quiet day, were generous enough to give us some of their time. They let us take a look at their helicopter up close and were happy to answer all of the questions we had about their day to day experiences.

Knowing that our efforts will directly support such an essential service fills us with pride and gratitude. The Wales Air Ambulance plays a pivotal role in providing rapid medical assistance to those in need, often in life-threatening situations. We're honoured to be able to contribute to their ongoing mission.
