Old Railway Line Awarded Three Awards at GTN Greatest Christmas Awards

Last Tuesday the Old Railway Line Garden Centre, located in Three Cocks between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, was crowned with three prestigious GTN’s Greatest Christmas Awards during a special breakfast event at Glee at the annual Spring Fair trade show.

The family run, independent garden centre was awarded ‘The Greatest Festive Plants Team’, ‘The Greatest Christmas Pets Team’ and ‘The Greatest Garden Centre Team at Christmas 2017 in Wales’.

Awards organiser Trevor Pfeiffer said the standard of entries for the Greatest Christmas Awards keeps improving.

“The judging gets harder and harder,” said Trevor. “The judges were looking for that extra special thing that sets a garden centre apart and they certainly found loads of examples during their visits.

Garden Centre owner, Mark Cleary collected the awards and added, “We are delighted to be awarded these three titles as part of the annual GTN’s Greatest Christmas Awards. These awards are team focussed and are great recognition of the amazing staff we have. Offering the best customer service possible has always been our priority and this hat-trick of awards is a true credit to the hard work of all of our staff over the festive period.”
