National Children’s Gardening Week Fun!
The Old Railway Line Garden Centre has planned a series of fun events for children as part of the National Children’s Gardening Week.
General Manager, Katie Eckley said “We are already looking forward to this year’s National Children’s Gardening Week. We have a series of events planned to inspire and encourage youngsters to get gardening at home! Gardening is a fantastic educational activity to get children active and enjoying the great outdoors.
“We also know how hard it can be to entertain children during half term so it’s a great time for us to offer a series of events throughout the week commencing 28th May. We have lots planned including daily colouring and crafts, visit from the Rainforest Roadshow, Plant a Kitchen Garden workshop, Facepaint Friday and Little Oaks Activity Stand.”
Additional information about each event can be found below. For more information about the Old Railway Line Garden Centre and upcoming events please contact the Old Railway Line directly by calling 01497 847055.
