Awarded ‘Best Garden Centre’ in Wales & West
We’re delighted to announce that on the 24th August 2021, we were awarded ‘Best Garden Centre in Wales and West’ at the annual Wales & West Area Garden Centre Association (GCA) Awards.
This is the 9th consecutive year that we’ve won the title.
As well as this top prize, we also collected another, very impressive, five awards which included ‘Best Customer Service’, ‘Best Garden Care Retailer’, ‘Best Indoor Lifestyle Retailer’ and ‘Ruxley Rose Plant Area Shortlist’ in garden products and indoor lifestyle departments. The garden centre was also recognised for the ‘Barton Grange Creativity & Innovation Award.’

“All the staff have been amazing through all of the challenges we’ve faced over the past eighteen months. Their hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed and it’s incredible to be recognised for this, once again.
“We strive to deliver the very best and safest experience for our customers and the biggest reward is always seeing them happy. We couldn’t achieve this without the support of our loyal customers who have supported us over these testing times.
“We are extremely proud of the team’s achievements at this years’ GCA regional awards after the year we’ve had and look forward to the national results in January.”
The GCA represents over 200 garden centres nationwide. Through sharing information and its inspection programme the GCA helps members to achieve high standards in customer service, plant quality and reliability. The awards are decided by the results of the annual inspections, which take place at all GCA garden centres. Garden centres have no advance warning about when their inspection will take place and they do not have the option to turn away the inspector.
