£1450 Raised for Greenfingers

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our fundraising activities for Greenfingers last week. We have raised an amazing £1450 for Greenfingers during the Garden Re-Leaf Fundraising Day and Quiz and Curry Night.

Director, Mark Cleary said “We are delighted to have increased this year’s total for Greenfingers from £1000 last year to £1450 this year as part of the national Garden Re-Leaf fundraising day. Each year garden centres across the UK unite to raise funds for this amazing charity which builds beautiful gardens in children’s hospices nationally.

“We would like to thank the 143 people who attended our Quiz & Curry Night and everyone who purchased a raffle ticket or charity tea and cake in our Tea Room or Railway Restaurant over the weekend. We love hosting charity fundraisers throughout the year for a range of charities and I have already starting writing questions for our next quiz on 12th July! Booking is now open and we expect tables to sell out quickly as usual.”
