£1000 Raised For Greenfingers

Last week The Old Railway Line Garden Centre, located in Three Cocks between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, raised an impressive £1000 for Greenfingers during their Garden Re-Leaf Fundraising Day and Quiz and Curry Night.

Director, Mark Cleary said “We are delighted to have raised four figures this year for the amazing Greenfingers as part of the national Garden Re-Leaf fundraising day. Each year garden centres across the UK unite to raise funds for this amazing charity which builds beautiful gardens in children’s hospices nationally.

“We would like to thank the 120 people who attended our Quiz & Curry Night and everyone who purchased a raffle ticket or tea and cake combo in our Railway Restaurant. We love hosting charity fundraisers throughout the year for a range of charities and I have already starting writing questions for our next quiz on 15th June! Booking is now open and we expect tables to sell out quickly as usual.”
