Product Description:
The Tulip ‘Queen of Night’ is a legendary variety admired for its rare, near-black flowers. Blooming in late spring, these velvety dark purple tulips stand tall on strong stems, reaching heights of up to 70 cm. Their dramatic colour makes them an eye-catching choice for planting in generous drifts, or for combining with pure white tulips such as ‘Maureen’ to create a timeless black-and-white display.
Perfect for both contemporary and traditional gardens, ‘Queen of Night’ tulips also shine as cut flowers, bringing their regal elegance indoors. The rich tones shift beautifully in the light, appearing almost pitch black in shade, then glowing with burgundy-purple highlights in sunshine. As one of the most coveted tulips available, they offer gardeners the chance to add real drama and depth to their spring planting schemes.
