We’re absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news. We’ve been crowned Best Garden Centre in the UK at this year’s Garden Centre Association Awards!
The awards were announced at the GCA’s Annual Conference, held at the beautiful Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire, as part of the Association’s 60th anniversary celebrations. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the very best garden centres from across the country, and we’re still buzzing from the results.
As well as taking home the top title, we were also delighted to win:
Best Farm Shop
Best Garden Products Retailer
Centre of Excellence status, placing us firmly in the Top 10 Garden Centres in the UK
To be recognised across so many categories in one year honestly means the world to us.
Peter Burks, Chief Executive of the Garden Centre Association, summed up the evening perfectly:
“We had a wonderful evening celebrating the very best of our industry… Each of them has been recognised for their outstanding dedication to delivering excellence, and they are truly deserving of these fantastic awards.”
For us, these awards are really about our people. Every member of the team plays a part in creating the experience our customers enjoy. From the plants and products we carefully select, to the food in our farm shop and the friendly faces you meet when you visit.
Being awarded Centre of Excellence once again also shows how important it is to us to keep improving. We’re never satisfied with “good enough”. We’re always looking for ways to do things better, offer more, and make every visit to the Old Railway Line Garden Centre a great one.
The Garden Centre Association represents over 200 garden centres nationwide, and all awards are based on unannounced inspections throughout the year, which makes this recognition even more special.
