A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Charity Bingo Night on Friday 28th August. We’re delighted to share that together we raised an amazing £1,028.20 for The Bracken Trust.
It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces filling the Restaurant for an evening of bingo, food and plenty of laughs, all while raising money for a charity that does such important work here in Powys.
We also owe a big thank you to Darren, who kindly volunteered his time to be our bingo caller for the evening. He did a fantastic job as always, keeping everyone entertained and the numbers coming!
Supporting The Bracken Trust
The Bracken Trust is our Charity of the Year for 2026, and we’re really proud to be supporting them throughout the year.
Based in Llandrindod Wells, The Bracken Trust provides support to people affected by cancer across Powys, as well as their families, carers and bereaved relatives.
Supporting our local community has always been a big part of what we do at The Old Railway Line, so it means a lot to us to see our customers getting behind our fundraising too. We simply couldn’t raise these sorts of amounts without you.
Our Grand Charity Raffle Has Raised Over £3,500!
The fundraising doesn’t stop there!
Our Grand Charity Raffle is still going strong, with over £3,500 raised so far for The Bracken Trust.
There are more than £5,000 worth of prizes up for grabs. If you haven’t got your tickets yet, there’s still time to get involved.
Every ticket sold helps us add a little more to our fundraising total and, most importantly, helps The Bracken Trust continue the brilliant work they do for people affected by cancer in our local area.
Thank you again to everyone who came along to our Bingo Night, Darren for calling the numbers, our team for making the evening happen, and everyone who has supported our fundraising so far.
