Product Description

Japanese Privet ‘Texanum’ is a robust evergreen shrub with a strong upright habit that naturally forms a dense screen. Its thick, glossy leaves remain vibrant throughout the year, offering a polished, low-maintenance option for gardens.

In summer, small, scented white flowers appear in elegant conical sprays, followed by oval black berries that provide visual interest and attract wildlife. Its combination of flowers, berries, and evergreen foliage makes it ideal for creating year-round structure and colour.

This adaptable shrub thrives in full sun or partial shade and tolerates a range of soil types, from chalk to clay, provided it is well-drained. It suits both formal and informal planting schemes, whether as a hedge, screen, or specimen plant.
