Product Description

The Acer palmatum ‘Orange Dream’ is a beautiful Japanese Maple tree prized for its luminous foliage and graceful branching habit. This medium-sized deciduous shrub develops a bushy, elegant shape that makes it ideal for adding structure, colour, and texture to a wide range of garden styles, from contemporary courtyards to traditional Japanese-inspired landscapes.

In spring, the finely lobed leaves emerge in brilliant shades of golden yellow, creating a bright and uplifting display. During summer, the foliage softens into fresh green tones before transforming again in autumn into glowing orange-yellow hues that provide spectacular late-season colour. The vivid foliage is perfectly complemented by the plant’s attractive bright green bark, which continues to offer ornamental appeal throughout the year.

Small reddish-purple flowers may appear during summer, occasionally followed by decorative red winged fruits that add subtle detail and seasonal interest. Supplied in a 3L pot, Acer ‘Orange Dream’ is an excellent choice for patios, borders, courtyard gardens, or feature containers where its elegant form and changing foliage can be fully appreciated.

This Japanese Maple thrives in sheltered positions with moist but well-drained soil and benefits from protection against strong winds and harsh midday sun. Its manageable size and slow-growing nature make it particularly well suited to smaller gardens and refined planting schemes.
