Amazing Early Reaction To This Year's Christmas Video

We’re absolutely blown away by the amazing response to our new Christmas advert. Released just a few days ago, it’s already racked up thousands of views on YouTube and Facebook. Every year, we look forward to creating these festive videos, and it’s so exciting to see how much joy they bring to our community.

This year’s advert is extra special. It’s inspired by The Magic of a Christmas Gift, a children’s charity book written by our very own team member, Matt Lewis. The story—and the advert—celebrates kindness, community, and the little things we can do to spread joy during the festive season.

We’re so proud of this project because it’s a true team effort. From planning to filming and editing, we’ve done everything in-house, and the “cast” features some of the youngest members of the Old Railway Line family (who absolutely nailed it, by the way!). Matt summed it up perfectly when he said:

“The response has been incredible. Each year, we put so much time and effort into these Christmas videos, and it’s amazing to see our community connecting with this story. It’s also just so much fun to create together!”

The video is packed with heartwarming moments, beautiful visuals, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic. Our hope? That it reminds everyone what this season is really about—kindness, giving, and coming together as a community.

And the story doesn’t stop with the advert. The book that inspired it, The Magic of a Christmas Gift, is available now at the garden centre and online. Every penny of profit is going to two incredible charities:

• Be More Frank, supporting families affected by childhood cancer in memory of Frank, a brave young boy who faced a rare bone cancer.
• Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust, which partners with the Bone Cancer Research Trust to fund research, raise awareness, and support families affected by primary bone cancer, all in honour of Eif’s legacy.
