Product Description
Almond ‘Ingrid’ is regarded as one of the most reliable cropping almond varieties for UK gardens, producing high-quality nuts with excellent flavour and texture. The pale green kernels are perfect for making almond milk, oil, butter, flour, or paste, as well as enjoying fresh.
In early spring, the tree is covered in masses of soft pink blossom, making it just as attractive as it is productive. This combination of ornamental beauty and practical yield makes it an excellent choice for gardens, orchards, and edible landscapes.
Best planted in a sunny, sheltered position with well-drained soil, ‘Ingrid’ performs particularly well in southern areas of the UK. Some protection from late frosts helps safeguard the early flowers and ensures good cropping.
